By September 1, 2026, the Board of Supervisors should review and reconsider the Conflict-of-Interest provisions contained within the Governance Manual and evaluate whether existing conflict-resolution, appeal, and review mechanisms provide adequate safeguards before retaining, modifying, or rescinding the policy.
