Recommendation R4
All decisions regarding personnel responsible for staff support for LAFCO, including but not limited to Executive Officer, Assistant Executive Officer, and Legal Counsel, should be at the discretion of LAFCO commissioners after careful consideration of experience, cost-effectiveness, and subject to at least one interview with LAFCO or an ad-hoc committee determined by LAFCO.
