Friend or Foe? Struggling with Reputation at the Humboldt County Planning and Building Department

The jury examines public access, complaint records, staffing and perceptions of Humboldt County Planning and Building services. Five findings and six recommendations address recruitment, customer feedback, advance consultation and website information. The executed Board response disputes the complaint-system finding, partly agrees with others, rejects some recommendations and claims three already implemented. Its staffing and website accounts remain response positions; no independent live-service or personnel audit is implied.
