Reliable special education and family participation

How should special education oversight report progress so families can distinguish planned changes from demonstrated improvements?

R4/R5 call for oversight and 60/120-day reporting. CCOE instead describes internal leadership review and term-by-term governance reporting beginning in 2026–2027. This question explores useful transparency rather than declaring either process sufficient.

Why this matters

Clear reporting can identify responsible bodies, timelines and evidence without disclosing student records.
