Recommendation R2-R4a

Findings and Recommendations

The Grand Jury recommends the Natomas SELPA administration address the African American/Black overidentification and suspension issues by holding listening sessions with African American/Black families and leaders by January 1, 2027. Information and feedback from this process should then be incorporated into the plan CDE has ordered resulting from the disproportionality citation.
