The local Directors of Early Education programs have indicated that Transitional Kindergarten is having a local impact of decreased enrollment in Early Childhood program providers in Lake County. This impact on enrollment is affecting local public and private daycare and preschool providers. To offset this decrease in enrollment, children as young as two-years-old can now enter preschool programs.
